**My first experiment with slip-casting from this dragon mold I picked up at an estate sale. I still have a lot to learn, but I wanted to share this vase with you.
The surface was hand-carved to reveal the original dragon design beneath, with one side mimicking the trunk of a cottonwood tree. Layers of red, yellow and black underglaze, along with celadon blue and cacao shino were used to design this unique vase.
